罗冉也操起了不太流利的英文回应：“Hey，Nice to meet u, Thanks for your pliment, my name is LuoRan, what's your name?”(你好，我也很高兴遇见你，多谢你的称赞，我的名字是罗冉，你的名字呢？）
黑人：“My name is James Harden, Nice to meet u too. Are u fresh? cause I never met u before.”(我的名字是詹姆斯·哈登，很高兴遇见你，你是新生吗？我从来没见过你。
罗冉：“Yes，I just flew from China to USA yesterday. I wanna play in NBA in one day so I came here.”（是的，我昨天才从中国飞过来，我想打NBA，所以我过来了。）
哈登再次露出吃惊的表情，不过听到罗冉想打NBA的时候，却表情严肃起来：“OKOK, Show me what u got. Wanna play 1 on 1? The one who scores 11 points first win the game.”(好，展示一下你自己，来场单挑如何？谁先拿11分谁赢。）
罗冉当然不会怂，连忙激动地说起了中式英语：“Sure, who scares who?”(好啊，谁怕谁）
哈登当即对罗冉表示了欣赏，对着另外一边的场子大声地喊：“Hey, Johnson, Come here to play 1 on 1 with my Chinese bro LuoRan.”(过来，约翰逊，来场单挑。）
虽然还没倒好时差，但是，简单热身之后直接开始，干就完了！
